How to configure vendor tags

Each vendor registered with your organisation can be assigned with a variety of tags that may be used to characterize or group certain vendors. These can be used to classify a vendor's business attributes, or be used for internal flagging in Felix.

Tags are defined with a custom icon and colour so that the icons can be re-used where necessary, or multiple values of an attribute can be declared against a vendor. Each individual tag has a unique label and description of the purpose of the tag.

Note:  Icons of flags do not have a custom colour and cannot be re-used.

Tip:  If you would like to learn more about using and assigning vendor tags, you can read our guide, How to use vendor tags.

Create a new vendor tag

Note:  Only organisation administrator users, and users with the necessary Manage Vendor Settings permission can create, edit and delete vendor tags.

To create a new vendor tag:

  2. Click the Add button in the top right of the page
  3. Select an icon for your new tag
  4. Select a colour for the icon for your new tag
  5. Enter a title for the tag in the field provided
